We’re excited to be at the Korea Electronics Show, in Seoul’s beautiful COEX conference center, and very excited to bring you news of the next generation of the Samsung ARTIK™ Smart IoT Platform!
If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that Samsung ARTIK comprises a range of IoT hardware modules, cloud services, and an ecosystem of partners to help you get your IoT products to market quickly. At KES today, we announced additions to all of these categories.
The next generation of our end-to-end ARTIK Smart IoT platform includes:
- Two new module families: ARTIK 0—tiny, flexible modules for low-power, single function devices—and ARTIK 7, an affordable option to power high-end gateways and multimedia applications. We think these new additions complement our existing ARTIK 5 and ARTIK 10 families nicely!
- New device management capabilities in Samsung ARTIK Cloud: Working out of the box with the new ARTIK modules, ARTIK Cloud now enables device manufacturers to easily onboard, monitor and manage their fleet of deployed devices from within ARTIK Cloud.
- An expanded partner ecosystem: more leading global distributors, service providers and technology solution partners are now part of the Samsung ARTIK partner ecosystem—including Arrow Electronics, Mujin, Naver Corporation, Kong Tech and Silicon Labs. These partners extend the range of services and capabilities that help companies build innovative IoT solutions, and get to market faster with ARTIK.
With an estimated 65% of enterprises already using IoT to optimize their services and product offerings (according to a recent research study by 451 Group), the expanded Samsung ARTIK Smart IoT platform is the right solution at the right time. ARTIK transforms the process of building, launching and managing IoT products and services.
We think the integrated Samsung ARTIK Smart IoT platform provides the fastest path to secure and interoperable IoT products and services, helping you reach new markets and new customers. Be sure to check out all of our new products and partners.
