If you’re a tech geek like us, you know the joy that comes from opening up a new product and taking it out of the box for the first time. We even get a little jolt just watching other people unboxing stuff – especially when it happens to be a new ARTIK 10 module.
It is for that reason that we were very excited when we heard from Todd Terrazas, the founder and CEO of Los Angeles-based Brainitch, who wanted to tell us about the work he is doing with America and Penelope Lopez, better known as the CyberCode Twins, on what is being described as a “next generation” beacon for use in public safety and communication services in urban areas.
Todd was able to get his hands on an ARTIK 10 module during the recent IoT World Expo in San Francisco, and he promptly put the box in the hands of the CyberCode twins for this great unboxing video:
As you can see, the Twins were able to get the board up and running in just a few minutes. As they happily shared, “It works!” We knew it would.
Now, we can hardly wait to see what comes next from Brainitch and the CyberCode Twins. They have big ideas cookin’, and we will make sure we share updates when we can. Follow the latest updates from Brainitch in their blog.
Meanwhile, if you want to learn more about the CyberCode Twins, check out this feature story and interview in the AT&T developer blog. As you will see, they won the top prize in the Women in Tech Challenge at the 2015 AT&T Developer Summit and Hackathon with their “Body Cam Hack”.
